Portable's “ The transit of Mercury “ album was critically acclaimed and named amongst the best under the radar finds for Winter 2020 by Pitchfork. And with this collection of remixes ,Khoikhoi aims to extend these aural gifts into the spring and summer months ahead. First up is Bergemann and Legget's other-worldly take on “ Take my heart “ which transport the listener into an alternate world where sound is the preferred mode of transport.” Said it all “ gets a Bodycode reimagining drawing heavly from the UK dubstep,jump up,D&B genres, but in he’s own particular style. We head to Johannesburg,South Africa and regular collaborator, visionary artist,Sound of Xee supplies us with a little spring upliftment. And the ep draws to a close with remix by  UK  artist  Mark Hand (OpalTapes/Freerotation) , a rework of “ Take my heart “ that cumbers up those future sunsets at your favourite summer hideaway.
